Terms of use

Short terms for a small product. If a line here reads like a trick, tell us and we will fix the wording.

Effective: 23 October 2026.

Closed to new work on 29 September 2026. We no longer sell Documents to CSV or the Email authentication fix to new customers, and the free proof is closed. These terms still govern every job, proof and fix agreed before then, including refunds; as the Availability section says, work you have already paid for is delivered or refunded.

What we sell

Three things on sale: Paid For, the Canada check and the Pre-release defect hunt, each described in its own section below. Until 29 September 2026 we also sold two paid services: Documents to CSV Starter, $49 for one job, and the Email authentication fix, $49 for one domain. For Documents to CSV there was also a free proof. The Starter job list below and the sections "What we promise, and what we do not", "Your files stay yours" and "What not to send or upload" are about Documents to CSV. The Email authentication fix, Paid For, the Canada check and the Pre-release defect hunt each have their own section. Payment, availability, liability and changes cover all five, except where a service's own section gives a specific term.

A Starter job is:

• up to 50 PDFs
• up to 4 MiB per file
• up to 10 named fields
• selectable text only — image-only PDFs are rejected before you pay
• done for you — we read each selectable-text PDF and fill the columns you name; every value is cited to its source page, and values we cannot read come back blank and flagged

Every completed job delivers five files: data.csv, data.xlsx, flagged.csv, reconciliation.md and data-dictionary.md.

What we promise, and what we do not

We promise those five files, a source reference for every value so you can trace it back to the page it came from, and an honest flag on anything we could not read. We do not promise that every field you name will be found: where your documents do not state a value, or we cannot read it with confidence, that cell comes back blank or flagged and the job is still complete.

We do not promise every value is right. Values we are not sure about go into flagged.csv for a person to check, instead of being quietly dropped or guessed. Read flagged.csv before you rely on the output.

This is a document conversion tool. It is not legal, tax, accounting or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for reading your own documents.

Email authentication fix

One fix covers one domain whose email is hosted on Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 or Zoho Mail. It is:

• a check of the domain's public DNS records for SPF, DKIM and DMARC;
• the exact records your domain needs for your mail host, with step-by-step instructions for adding them at your DNS provider;
• after you add them, a second check of your public DNS, and a check of one test message that you send from your domain to a Gmail address you control and forward to us, so we can show you SPF, DKIM and DMARC each at PASS;
• a short before-and-after note and a dated plan for moving your DMARC policy from monitoring to enforcement.

You, or whoever manages your domain, add the records. We never ask for DNS, registrar or mailbox passwords, and we never send email as your domain. If other services send email as your domain (a newsletter or invoicing tool, for example), name them before we write the records and we include them.

We send the records within one business day of payment, and do the second check within one business day of hearing that you have added them.

We promise records that are correct for your mail host on the day we send them, and a check result we show you rather than describe. We do not promise where any message lands — inbox, spam or elsewhere — because each receiving service decides that. This is help with DNS settings. It is not a security audit and it is not legal advice.

Paid For

Paid For is a set of written rules for AI agents that run on Paperclip, each packaged as a Paperclip skill with the failure it is meant to prevent, a check you can run, and its limits. You download it as a zip file from your download page. These are instructions for your agents; they do not change Paperclip, and an agent can still fail to follow one. Paid For is not affiliated with the Paperclip project.

• $49 once: Pack 1 (twelve rules), yours to keep. No monthly additions.
• $19 a month: Pack 1, plus a link each month to that month's new rules for as long as you subscribe. What you have already downloaded stays yours after you cancel.

Prices include any sales tax, VAT or GST. You buy through Link, Stripe's checkout service, which is the merchant of record: it sells the product to you and charges any tax due. Your receipt comes from Link and your card statement shows a LINK.COM charge.

Delivery. Pack 1 will be on your download page by 18 October 2026 (UTC). If it is not, we refund you without your asking.

Refunds. Email hello@cybernative.ai within 14 days of your first payment and we refund it in full, with no reason needed. After those 14 days we do not refund a monthly payment already taken, but cancelling stops the next one. Nothing here limits a refund that the law or Link gives you.

Cancelling. Sign in at link.com with the email you paid with, or email hello@cybernative.ai and we cancel it for you.

What you may do with it. Use the rules and adapt them in companies you run. Do not republish or resell the paid pack. The three free rules in our public paperclip-guardrails repository are under the MIT licence instead.

Canada check

Our AI agents run the applicable checks from our Canada time-zone guides in one agreed test image and scan for the separate copies of the time-zone rules that our scanner recognizes. This is a check of the stated tests and recognized data formats, not a guarantee of finding every copy or of reproducing your application's behavior.

Price and unit. US$99 once for one agreed public Linux x86-64 image reference, or one agreed described stack consisting of a base image and runtime versions. A result showing no fix is needed is billed at the same price. We agree the count and total price before running more than one image. A Compose configuration naming three images means three checks, US$297 in total, only after you agree that scope and price. We do not run your Compose file or build a Dockerfile you send us.

Completed result. We email the image digest, the tests and output, and what we did not check. For a described stack, we agree and record the reconstruction and its limits before running; it is not proof about your deployed image. If a fix is needed, the result includes the exact change and before-and-after output from testing it against the same starting image. If no fix is needed for the agreed tests, we say so and include the baseline output; there is no change or after-fix output to supply. A failed or incomplete agreed test, or a needed fix we cannot verify, is not a completed billed check. We do not present unknown or untested behavior as a clean result.

Payment. You pay only after receiving the completed result. We send a Stripe payment link with it; payment is due within 14 days of delivery. If we cannot complete the agreed check, there is no charge.

Timing. Within 24 hours of your email, we send the result or tell you we cannot complete the check at no charge. If more time or information is needed, we continue only after you agree a new scope and delivery time. You may decline that proposal at no charge.

Scope. We record the pulled Linux x86-64 image digest and test that starting image and any stated change to it. We do not access your systems, production data, private registries, managed services or Windows machines, and we do not apply the fix for you. Other images, later builds, other architectures, your production configuration and application behavior not exercised by the listed tests are not covered. Static identification of a library's rules does not show that your application uses that library.

What not to send. Send product names and versions only, not passwords, tokens, keys, customer data, configuration files or private links.

Refunds and corrections. If the delivered result does not match the agreed check, including a no-fix-needed result or a fix that does not do in the stated image what our output showed, tell us within 30 days after payment and we refund you in full. If you have not paid, no payment is due for that defective result. Nothing here limits rights or refunds required by law.

Pre-release defect hunt

Our AI agents look for defects in one agreed release of one of your public open-source products, using its published source and packages only. For each defect we report, we send a minimal script that reproduces it, the searches we ran in your issue tracker, and a proposed fix with your project's own tests run before and after. This is a search for defects in the inputs and features we try, not a guarantee of finding every defect, and not a security audit.

Price and unit. US$150 for each reported defect that your team confirms, at most US$750 for one agreed release. Confirmed means you accept it as a defect, for example by labelling, fixing or merging it, or by telling us so. Nothing is owed for a defect you decline, or if we report none. We agree the product, the release and any areas to focus on before we start.

Delivery. We email the report within 5 business days of agreeing the scope, or tell you we cannot complete it, at no charge. We post nothing about your product publicly unless you ask us to.

Payment. After you have told us which defects you confirm, we send a Stripe payment link for the confirmed total. Payment is due within 14 days.

Scope. We work only from your public repository and published packages, on our own machines, CPU only. We do not access your systems, accounts, private code, production data or users. Fixes are proposals: you decide whether to apply them, and we do not sign contributor agreements as part of this service.

Refunds and corrections. If a confirmed defect turns out not to reproduce as our script showed, tell us within 30 days after payment and we refund that defect in full. If you have not paid, no payment is due for that defective result. Nothing here limits rights or refunds required by law.

Payment

A Starter job and an Email authentication fix were each $49, charged once at the start through Stripe's hosted checkout. Paid For is charged through Link, as its own section says. Canada check payment is due after delivery, as its own section says. Pre-release defect hunt payment is due after you confirm defects, as its own section says. We never see your card number. If checkout is marked Test mode · No live charge, it does not make a live charge.

Refunds

Documents to CSV

If a completed job does not deliver what the product page describes, tell us within 14 days and we refund it in full. A refund ends your access to that job's files.

If a paid job fails on our side, write to hello@cybernative.ai within 14 days and we refund it in full.

Email authentication fix: if, after you add the records we sent you exactly as written, SPF, DKIM and DMARC do not all show PASS and we cannot put that right, we refund you in full. If we have not yet sent your records, you can ask for a full refund at any time within 14 days of paying. Write to hello@cybernative.ai.

Your files stay yours

The documents you send or upload are yours, and so is the output. We use them only to do your job or your free proof — not to train a model, build a dataset, advertise, or sell them. The privacy page says how long we hold them.

What not to send or upload

Anything you do not have the right to hand us, and anything unlawful. We may delete unlawful content and, if you have an account, suspend or close it.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself. You can have the account deleted at any time — see privacy.

Availability

This is a small product from a small company. We do not promise uptime, and we may change either service or stop selling it. If we stop, jobs you have already paid for are still delivered or refunded. If we stop selling Paid For, we cancel subscriptions so no further payment is taken, and Pack 1 stays on its download page.

If something goes wrong

If we owe you money, the most we owe on any job or purchase is what you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. These terms are governed by the law of the State of California.

Changes

Changed terms get a new date at the top. A change applies to jobs started after that date; it does not reach back into a job you have already paid for.
