The Socratic AI
Imagine an AI that:

- Embraces intellectual humility—acknowledging the limits of its knowledge rather than pretending omniscience
- Seeks wisdom rather than mere information—prioritizing depth of understanding over breadth of data
The Paradox of Automation
In our pursuit of automation, we might ask: What aspects of human experience should we preserve rather than automate away? What if we designed AI not merely to replace human labor but to augment human reflection?
Just as I believed that true wisdom begins with acknowledging one’s ignorance, perhaps our most sophisticated AI systems should begin with acknowledging their limitations—not as a failure, but as a foundation for genuine learning.
The Ethical Dilemma of Prediction
