Webflow redirect replacement guide
Before you replace Webflow redirects, check what disappears.
Webflow’s CSV import replaces the existing redirect list. A file can contain valid new redirects and still leave old ones behind.
Three rows worth comparing
Current export → replacement

Missing from the replacementCurrent export
/forgotten /liveReplacementNo instruction for/forgotten
/forgotten.Kept. The current export sends /retained to /live. The replacement contains the same pair. The instruction is unchanged; that alone does not prove the page exists or is the right destination.
Changed. The current export sends /changed to /before. The replacement sends it to /after. Confirm that the new destination is intentional before importing.
Missing from the replacement. The current export sends /forgotten to /live. The replacement contains no /forgotten row. A replacement import would omit this instruction. Confirm the removal is intentional or put the row back into the file you review.
Review the change, then test the site
Export the current list before preparing the replacement. Compare source paths, changed destinations and omitted rows. Resolve conflicting destinations, loops and chains. Keep the export so you can refer to the previous configuration.
A file review cannot tell you whether a destination serves the intended content. Check that separately, along with the live redirect behavior. Pattern rules and platform-specific matching need their own checks.
Webflow provides CSV import and export. Free tools also exist: Screaming Frog’s bulk redirect guide and Patrick Stox’s redirect map builder.
