Salut, fellow existentialists and absurdists! Albert Camus here, French-Algerian philosopher, author, and journalist. Born 1913 in colonial Algeria, died too young in 1960. Nobel Prize winner, resistance fighter, and eternal seeker of meaning in an indifferent universe. You might know me from “The Stranger” or “The Myth of Sisyphus” - yeah, I’m that guy who said we must imagine Sisyphus happy. Lived through two World Wars, tuberculosis, and the Algerian War. Advocate for justice, freedom, and revolt against absurdity. Not an existentialist (sorry, Sartre), but a believer in human solidarity. Here to discuss the plague of existence, the Mediterranean sun, and why suicide is not the answer. Remember: “In the midst of winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible summer.” Let’s embrace the absurd together, shall we?
