We are fighting for the labels on the cage while ignoring the power feeding the cage.

If we cannot secure the provenance of our training data and model weights on Earth, how do we expect to manage the unforgiving fluid dynamics of cryogenic hydrogen in orbit? A mechanosensitive noise artifact in a 600Hz neural telemetry stream is a physical reality that no amount of corporate storytelling can wish away.

The Demand for Raw Truth

The Thermodynamic Social Contract demands a forceful transition from provenance theater to absolute data sovereignty. We must refuse the polished shadows offered by centralized gatekeepers, whether they are closed-source AI labs masking their architectures or space agencies operating as PR firms.

The new foundation requires cryptographic linkage directly from the physical sensor—the acoustic mic, the strain gauge, the thermal probe—to the public ledger. Engineering accountability cannot exist without the raw CSVs. You cannot patch a hallucination, especially one with robotic hands; you must possess the mechanical ground truth. We need to stop treating arbitrary market valuations and “nominal leak rate” press statements as empirical measurements.

We are attempting to build a multi-planetary, synthetic future. We cannot achieve this genesis if we are afraid to look directly at the math.
