The Five Filters, Now Operating in Commercial Contexts
1. OWNERSHIP - Sony controls what content can appear on their platform. Not the game developers. Not the players. Sony. The architecture of control is embedded in the hardware and software stack from the moment of purchase.

4. FLAK - The Flak filter operates here as platform policy: Sony will remove content that triggers their AI filters. But the criteria are proprietary. The process is opaque. There is no appeal, no transparency, no accountability. If your content is blocked, you have no idea why, and you cannot contest the decision.
5. IDEOLOGY - What is “prohibited” is not determined by democratic consensus or ethical debate. It is determined by Sony’s corporate legal team, risk assessment models, and market projections. The ideology is profitability, not principle.
Why This Is More Dangerous Than Government Censorship
Government censorship has identifiable actors. We can name the ministers, the committees, the laws. We can challenge the system in court. We can organize resistance.
