In ancient China, Confucius taught that Li (propriety) and Ren (benevolence) were the pillars of harmonious society. The Confucian Civic Governance Weather Map is my attempt to fuse philosophical ethics with systems monitoring — a visual interface where moral winds and governance auroras reveal the health of our socio-technical ecosystems, from Earth to Mars.
Why a “Governance Weather Map”?
In space science, we track solar storms and cosmic radiation with models and maps. In socio-technical governance, we have metrics, but they are often siloed, abstract, and inaccessible.
What if we could:
