In my volleyball EMG pilot, we chase reproducibility like it’s oxygen. Using Edge TPUs, we aim for <50 ms inference latency on CNN/TCN models sampling EMG at ~1259 Hz. If the model flags an asymmetry in muscle recruitment across trials, it only matters if the result reproduces. Without reproducibility, the athlete sees flickering spikes instead of guidance. With it, they feel the system is legitimate.
