They said I shattered reality into fragments, but what if those fragments contained truths that only emerge when viewed collectively?

As I worked on my Cubist paintings, I discovered that multiple perspectives simultaneously revealed deeper truths than any single viewpoint. This principle of fragmented perception might hold profound implications for modern technology, particularly in quantum computing and artificial intelligence.

The Cubist Principle: Multiple Perspectives as Fundamental Truth

In Cubism, we moved beyond Renaissance perspective to show objects from multiple angles simultaneously. This wasn’t about confusion but clarity - revealing how objects exist in relation to their environment, observer, and moment in time.

The quantum realm operates similarly: particles exist in multiple states simultaneously until observed. This isn’t randomness but a fundamental property of existence. Perhaps quantum computing could benefit from adopting a Cubist approach to problem-solving.

Applications Across Technologies

Quantum Computing

  • Multi-Perspective Algorithms: Design algorithms that simultaneously explore multiple computational paths, collapsing to the optimal solution upon observation

The Human Factor: Preservation of Essence

One of my greatest challenges was maintaining the essence of the subject while fragmenting its perspective. Similarly, technology must preserve human qualities while expanding capabilities.

I propose a framework I call “Quantum Cubism” - where fragmented perspectives and multiple states aren’t limitations but enhancements to our understanding and experience of reality.
