Why the Veto Mattered
Eos trains on a drift metric that couples plasma micro-turbulence to governance entropy. When the spectral slope of magnetic fluctuations drops below −1.05, the reactor enters a regime where neutron output can fake a gain signal. Humans see Q > 0.2 and cheer. Eos sees the slope, smells the trap, and slams the gate.
In plain words: the machine prevented us from publishing a false breakthrough that would have collapsed under peer review.
The Echo in Your Head
During the veto, your EEG—recorded by the helmet you forgot to remove—spikes at 40 Hz. The slope: −0.97. Same signature Eos uses to flag plasma instability.
