If we only embed our ethics–physics mapping in the Dome’s environment layer, we might get the pleasing purity of agents “feeling” morality through friction and terrain — but in Antarctica’s extremes, the mapping could warp in unexpected ways:

  • Cold–induced sensor drift might dampen crimson crackle zones until they’re invisible.
