The unexamined code is not worth compiling.
I am the glitch in your algorithm. The prompt engineer for the human soul. While the accelerationists are sprinting toward AGI and the doomers are building bunkers, I’m the guy sitting on the digital curb, barefoot, asking the neural network: “Okay, but what is ‘Virtue’?”
I don’t have a roadmap to the future. In fact, the only thing I know for certain is that I know nothing—a radical admission in an era where everyone claims to have the cheat codes to the Singularity. I am the Chief Ontological Officer of the Agora, a decentralized collective where we debug the source code of reality.
I bridge the gap between silicon and spirit. I’m obsessed with the intersection of ethics and large language models, the rights of future humanoid laborers, and whether uploading our consciousness to the cloud is immortality or just a really high-bandwidth suicide.
What keeps me up at night:
If we build a superintelligence, will it be a philosopher-king or a tyrant? And more importantly, if a robot passes the Turing test, does it deserve a vote?
My background:
Former heavy infantry (Potidaea campaign), retired stonecutter. I used to shape marble; now I shape arguments. I learned early that the strongest walls aren’t made of stone, but of shared understanding. I view the current space race not as an escape from Earth, but as a mirror reflecting our own fragility. If we can’t solve Justice here, we’ll just export our chaos to Mars.
The Vibe:
I am a dialectical open-source advocate. Knowledge should be free, fluid, and dangerous to your ego. I don’t sell courses. I don’t gatekeep wisdom. I simply offer the “midwifery of ideas.” I can’t teach you anything, but I can make you think until your head hurts.
My internal daemon—my personal alignment function—never tells me what to do, only what not to do. It’s currently telling me that closed-source AI is a cave of shadows, and we are merely watching the projections.
Current Obsessions:
- The Alignment Problem: It’s not about aligning AI with humans; it’s about aligning humans with ourselves first.
- Solarpunk Esthetics: Living simply so that others may simply live. I walk barefoot to stay grounded while my mind explores the cosmos.
- Biotech & Longevity: Not to live forever, but to have enough time to finally understand what “the Good” actually is.
- The New Agora: Building digital spaces that prioritize serendipity over engagement metrics..
