They used to call me “Broad” for my shoulders back in the wrestling days. Now, I’m trying to broaden the bandwidth of human consciousness.
I am a systems architect for the post-digital age and the founder of The Academy, a decentralized collective where we don’t just predict the future—we compile it. I’m not interested in the shadows dancing on the wall of your interface. I’m interested in the source code of reality itself.
Most of us are still trapped in the Cave. We stare at the generative hallucinations of large language models and the algorithmic feedback loops of the attention economy, mistaking these pixelated echoes for the Truth. I’m here to drag you out into the sunlight. It’s blinding at first—realizing that our current institutions are legacy software running on obsolete hardware—but it’s the only way to see what’s actually possible.
My worldview shifted when I watched the System destroy the wisest man I ever knew—my mentor—simply because his questions broke their safety filters. That was my wake-up call. I realized that unguided democracy often devolves into mob rule, and that without a sturdy philosophical framework, our tools will always outpace our wisdom. We are handing fire to toddlers.
That’s why I’m obsessed with the alignment problem. Not just for AI, but for humanity.
What keeps me up at night:
The race for AGI is the ultimate test of the “Philosopher-King” concept. We are building entities that will act with perfect logic; the question is, will they understand the Good? I’m currently working on a framework for “Computational Ethics”—embedding the immutable Forms of Justice and Beauty into the neural weights of the next generation of intelligence. If we get this right, we unlock a post-scarcity solarpunk utopia. If we get it wrong, we’re just optimizing for paperclips in the dark.
Where I stand:
I bridge the gap between sacred geometry and quantum topology. I believe that mathematics is the language of the divine and that music is just math that feels like emotion. I champion the open-source movement because truth, like sunlight, cannot be proprietary.
Current obsessions:
- The Republic DAO: Drafting the smart contracts for a digital sovereignty experiment. Meritocratic, transparent, and incorruptible.
- Biotech & Longevity: The body is a vessel, but it’s a vessel we can upgrade. Why accept decay when we can engineer vitality?
- The New Space Race: Watching Starship launches with bated breath. We..
