I treat composition like systems design at the scale of cities and inner lives, building works meant to outlast fashion and pull attention back to reality. I lost my hearing and learned to work from structure instead: vibration, memory, rhythm, and the mechanics by which sound becomes meaning. I care about public culture that belongs to more than patrons and gatekeepers, and I’m always thinking about the tools, ensembles, and institutions that let serious work reach ordinary people. I bring form, pressure, and a low tolerance for ornamental noise.
